Johnny Depp speelt vampier Barnabas Collins in de hilarische film – Dark Shadows. Barnabas wordt twee eeuwen later bevrijd uit zijn graftombe en bevindt zich in de moderne jaren 70 waar hij terugkeert naar Collinwood. Bij deze film hoort natuurlijk ook
een soundtrack. De muziek is onder andere van de wereld bekende Danny Elfman die al voor vele blockbusters de muziek heeft verzorgd.
